Vicki, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Sending healing white and pink light from up here, and hope you are good to go to see the docs you need to see without having to go to ER... Big hugs,
This is too weird. We are having heavy rains due to the hurricane and I wanted to reschedule the appt. Turns out the doctor is ill and has had to cancel all of his appt. today. He will work me in on Thur. Now I am concerned about going to this office because the receptionist sounded awful. I asked if she was ill and she said she was. Obviously something flu-like is going around there.
I am in no pain at all. It might be better if I waited longer than 48 hours before setting foot in the germ-trap.
Still waiting at home but in no pain at all. Saving energy. Keep sending light. I appreciate it.
Hi Vicki, I'm surrouding you in white light to protect from any virus, etc. that is floating around you. You might consider wearing a mask to the appointment and using hand sanitizer before, during and after the appointment, especially after touch door handles and other contaiminated surfaces!
I was talking to my son just now about....do I really have to have the gb removed NOW or is it possible that I can wait. The acute attack is obviously over. My bladder was leaking (more than usual) and I realized today that it was much improved. That tells me something was pressing on it. I am totally confused about what to do.
I imagine they will...I'm just thinking I'll postpone the appt. for a bit....so if anyone else has ideas, feel free to chime in. Bernie, do you think I can do that since I am feeling normal right now?
vicki it's your life and body but you don't want to end up an emergency with obstructed bile duct and jaundice i'd get it done as an elective procedure the sooner the better
Vicki, Please don't put off your surgery. Your common bile duct could rupture and then you would be faced with a life-threatening condition. Common bile ducts are hard to repair and sometimes they can't be. I've seen so nasty cases when I administered anesthesia (passed gas ). If the stone is too big, it cannot pass into the small intestine and you will develop chronic problems/infection or could end up with a nasty case of pancreatitis from the obstruction of bile and other digestive juices.
