They are all so adorable, Bernie. My heart aches for any animal who is struggling...and Miracle sounds like she is just like her name: a miracle. I just can't imagine...
My heart goes out to Bernie, Bobbie, and baby Miracle. Prayer, and healing light and all of that and more to you all...

I talked to Bernie this afternoon. He is giving Miracle IV fluids through her skin as she is very dehydrated. Please contine to pray for Miracle and her parents and furry friends.

Thanks for the pictures Beth! I have the one of the cats. I got it today from Bernie. I am concerned about Miracle. Please say a prayer for me and I will say many tonight and tomorrow at church!

Miracle isn't getting any better. Bernie is having a hard time trying to keep up with all of his many jobs at hope. Please say a special prayer that he can handle all of his responsibilites and not get too tired! Thanks.

Yes, it's always a difficult time with sick pets and especially with those who are old and sick as I'm sure all of us with pets have experienced. I'm sure our pets try to stay alive for our sakes, and it's important to let them know that it is their choice to fight for their lives or die if they want to, and we are there to help them, even if it is to help them die. When we are going through this, as we have many times, Lucette always exclaims 'what a priviliged, sacred time this is!' Bernie you are fortunate to be able to be at home with Miracle. John, you say it so well. It was only a year and a half ago that my cat Tucker went to heaven. Your words capture the feelings, thoughts, and memories that I have of the experience. I agree with Lucette about how it is sacred. I will always remember.

when our cat dickens was dying and i went to bring hime home
so he could be with us when he died
the vet gave me a blanket to wrap him in and kept our stuff since it was soiled
at home after he died and i unwrapped the towel
printed on it were the words
LIFE IS GOOD
dickens knew how to get us through the loss
i am sure miracle will make the right choice too
