Thanks Bernie.
In the blurb it is mentioned about research Bernie predicts will take place in the next decade.  That research is already being conducted and has been in the past.  In Aus there are centres which conduct evidenced-based research on some of Bernie's topics.  Next year Prof. Anvi Sali (one of my heros) and others are publishing a book of evidenced-based research on what some people have called alternative approaches to cancer and other illnesses.  One piece of evidenced-based research that interested me some years ago looked at faith, peace and meaning in relation to quality of life in cancer patients. The results showed that peace and meaning was statistically significant in relation to patients quality of life, but faith was not. (Prof. Ian Olver et al)

So much good is going on in medical areas.  Our niece is about to graduate from Medicine and one of the highlights of her study program was being assigned a patient with a chronic illness (she had a cancer patient) and she went with that patient to all appointments, listened to the patient etc., not as a medical person, but as a friend/supporter, to learn what it is like to be a patient.  I was also heartened by the fact that first year medical students who are taught mindfulness meditation as part of the ESSENCE course of their study were tested at the end of their training and 90.5% were still using meditation and other techniques taught to them.  Let's always be grateful for the positives and focus on that.

I listened to part of your talk Bernie (hope to listen to more tomorrow), and you mention "water" right at the beginning.  It made me remember that wonderful research some years by the Japanese man Dr. Masaru Emoto on water, the power of water, the messages of water and water crystals and how we affect water and all the implications of that.  Even enjoyed the music created by Alan Roubik in collaboration with Masaru Emoto.  Take care everyone.
